I have been taking quite a few beach vacations lately (I know, life’s rough), so I think I have finally nailed my waterproof makeup routine. It lasts most of the day, unless of course you’re snorkeling for hours. Here’s what I use for makeup at the beach:
- Concealer: Tarte Amazonian Clay concealer in the shade Medium. I apply this with a beauty blender.
- Setting Powder: NARS Translucent powder.
- Bronzer: Benefit Hoola Bronzer.
- Eyebrows: Anastasia Brow pomade in the shade Medium Brown. I apply this with a Too Faced angled brush. Then I use my Anastasia clear brow gel to set my brows.
- Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof mascara.
- Setting Spray: Urban Decay All-Nighter setting spray.
Yes, you read that right, I don’t wear foundation to the beach. The concealer is full enough coverage that I don’t need foundation, and I like my face to feel weightless.
That’s it! It’s a really simple look but it looks great in those Instagram pics. I’m so happy I finally found the perfect waterproof makeup routine. What makeup do you wear to the beach?
