This year already seems to be flying by. When I was reviewing my blog goals for 2018, I decided I was going to continue doing monthly favorites posts. I always enjoy reading about other people’s favorites and finding new products to try out! What are your thoughts on favorites posts, yay or nay? Here’s what I was loving in January:
Beauty
- Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. When the Fenty Beauty line came out I was so excited to try out some new products! This gloss bomb lip gloss is amazing. I usually hate lip gloss because of how sticky it is, but this isn’t sticky at all! It’s such a pretty color for everyday wear.
- Sigma Brush Set. I typically use Mac brushes but I was ready to try something new. I picked up a Sigma brush set at TJ Maxx for super cheap (compared to Sigma’s website). I am obsessed with these brushes! They are so soft and make for flawless application.
- Fenty Beauty Matte Setting Powder. I just finished up my NARS setting powder so I thought I would pick up a new one to try. I am super impressed with this powder. I think I might love it even more than the NARS one.
Clothing
- Bunny Slippers. If you know me you know that I love bunnies. Bunny videos, bunny memes, actual bunnies, and bunny-themed clothes. These slippers are from Kohls and they make me so happy!
- Gap Girlfriend Jeans. I am not a jeans person. I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of jeans for so long and I finally found them at Gap. I love their Girlfriend jeans! I have them in four different washes. This month I was loving my black pair.
- Bath Robe. I’ve never really owned or used bathrobes. However, I got two bathrobes for Christmas so I decided it was time to try it out. I am actually obsessed with them! It’s so nice to be able to sit in a robe after I shower instead of having to struggle with putting on clothes.
Miscellaneous
- Water Aerobics Classes. I recently got a gym membership so I’ve been taking lots of fitness classes. My mom and I do a water aerobics class twice a week and I love it. I used to think water aerobics were for old people, but the class I’m in is super intense and is such a good workout!
- Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies. These are a staple in my pantry. I always crave cheese and these are a somewhat healthy fix for that.
- Heated Blanket. Wisconsin is freezing and since I’m ballin on a budget, my house is too. Heated blankets are a necessity to get me through the cold winters.
