I had another amazing month. Halfway through May I made my big move to Texas and I’ve been here ever since. It’s been such a crazy and fun adventure. I’ve been loving every minute of it! Here’s what I was loving in May:
Beauty
- Palmer’s Cocoa Butter. This is one of my skincare staples. It’s super cheap and can be found at any drugstore. I rub it all over my body after the shower and it makes my skin so smooth and leaves it smelling so good!
- Glamglow PowerCleanse Cleanser. I’ve been experimenting with a ton of cleansers lately and this is one of my favorites. It’s a duo pump cleanser, which I think is so cool. One side pumps out an oil and the other side is a mud cleanser. I love how clean and refreshed it makes my face feel! I actually got mine at TJ Maxx so it was super discounted.
- Mary Kay Lash Primer. I have the tiniest eyelashes ever so I am always trying new products to make them look longer. I love this primer! It makes such a huge difference in my lashes.
Clothing
- Gray Lounge Shorts. Since it’s 100 degrees every single day here in Texas, I’ve been breaking out the shorts. I love wearing cute lounge shorts with a striped t-shirt, it’s my go to outfit!
- Striped Midi Dress. I got this cute dress at the Spice Market in Waco. It’s soft like a t-shirt dress but is more fitted towards the middle and hits right below the knee. I’m going to be wearing this all summer long.
- Gray Crewneck Sweatshirt. I got a comfy crewneck sweatshirt in Grand Cayman and I’ve been wearing it so much.
Miscellaneous
- Marriott Hotels. I did my first sponsored post with the St. Louis Marriott Grand in May and it was such a fun partnership. If you missed it, you can read that post HERE. I have been staying at Marriott hotels my whole life, so working with them was an absolute dream.
- Riverdale. I’m not sure why it took me so long to jump on the Riverdale bandwagon, but I finally did. I really loved it. I watched all of the episodes on Netflix in like three days. I need some new shows to watch! Leave me a comment with your Netflix show recommendations.
- New Car! I have been working so hard the last few months to be able to buy myself a new car and I finally did right before leaving for Texas. I got a 2013 Malibu. I’ve put over 1,000 miles on it since I drove it to Texas, and I love it more every day.
