October is one of my favorite months of the year! This October did not disappoint – I had such an amazing month. I celebrated Nick’s birthday, flew back to Austin, worked at Silobration in Waco, got my very first hand lettered art art piece professionally printed and ready to sell, and kept pushing forward with my home redecorating project. Here’s what I was loving in October:
Clothing
- Blush Pink Adidas Slides. By now everyone knows that I am obsessed with my black and white adidas slides. I am also obsessed with blush pink, so when I saw these slides…..I had to have them. The color is so perfect and now I have two cute pairs of these slides to rotate between.
- Plain Jane T-Shirt Dress. I have been a huge fan of t-shirt dresses for years. I have definitely developed some favorite brands, but this one takes the cake. I got this Plain Jane dress at Silobration and it’s the best t-shirt dress ever! It’s so flattering and comfortable.
- Seaside Baseball Hat. Nick and I visited Seaside Florida for the first time in September. Apparently their logo is a weiner dog, and since I happened to love weiner dogs, I had to buy this hat. I still wear it almost every day!
Beauty
- Drybar Triple Sec. I have had really flat hair for as long as I can remember, and no product has ever helped until I found this. I love how it feels in my hair and that it adds so much texture and volume.
- Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter. I tried this body butter for the first time this summer and now I keep one everywhere – on my desk, in my car, in my work bag. It smells amazing and helps my dry skin so much without being greasy.
- Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara. I rarely ever change up my mascara, but I am so happy I tried this one. I love how thick it is without being clumpy.
Miscellaneous
- iPad Pro. I can’t get enough of my new iPad. It has been a total game-changer for my business! I spend way too many hours drawing on it and it makes me so happy.
- Amazon Firestick. Another thing I was hooked on this month was our new Firestick. I love how easy it is to stream all of our shows now!
- Silobration at the Magnolia Silos. I had the opportunity to work at Silobration at the Magnolia Silos in Waco this year. It was a lot of hard work but such an amazing experience. Plus, I got to meet Joanna Gaines which was pretty much the coolest thing ever!
