How is it already November?! This year has flown by like no other. October was super busy for me as usual. I worked my full-time job while continuing to go to college and I did almost 10 photoshoots this month (including my first wedding! In Texas!) Let’s get into my October favorites.
Beauty
- Vaseline Lip Therapy Aloe. I am known to have the driest lips on this planet and this stuff is sooooo soothing. I put it on every night before bed and wake up every morning with smooth lips.
- Milk Makeup Cooling Stick. You might be thinking, “It’s cold out in Wisconsin, why do you need that in October?” Well, I went to Texas to photograph a wedding this month and it was seriously like 100 degrees. This little cooling stick was the best thing that had ever happened to me at the time.
- St. Ives Even & Bright Scrub. I have always been a huge fan of St. Ive’s products and this is no exception. It feels so good on my skin plus the smell is amazing.
Clothing
- Urban Outfitters Fuzzy Jacket. I got this obnoxious fuzzy jacket from Urban and I have literally worn it every single day this month (except in Texas!). It is as fluffy as it looks…I feel like I’m wearing a blanket all day.
- White Converse. This month I broke out my white converse from high school again and started wearing them to work. They are just as comfy as I remember and I love pairing them with a T-Shirt dress.
- Fresh Produce T-Shirt Dress. Speaking of T-Shirt dresses, this is my favorite of all time. I stopped at a store called Fresh Produce when Nick and I were in Key West and I fell in love with this dress (mine is black and white).
Miscellaneous
- Knitting. I have been knitting on and off since I was 8 and this month I picked it up again. I’m working on a big cozy fall scarf for myself. Stay tuned for the finished product.
- TopGolf. I had my first TopGolf experience this month and it was super cool. Basically it’s a three story driving range with targets and food and alcohol. Can’t beat it.
- Pop Socket. I never thought I’d own one of these but when work gave them away for free I couldn’t resist. I am still getting used to it but I think I like it…
