Welcome to the first post of my 2022 Holiday Gift Guide series! This year a sweet little Golden Retriever puppy named Franklin joined my family. I am a first time dog mom, so I’ve spent countless hours researching the best products for pets and pet parents! We all have a pet or pet parent on our holiday shopping list, so if you need gift ideas, look no further. Yeti Chews are officially my dog’s new favorite treat! I’m not kidding when I say he will spend hours chewing on one of these. Yeti Chews are all natural and made from yak and cow milk. They are easily digestible and don’t splinter, crack, or smell bad. They make a great snack for your pup and are an awesome way to keep them entertained with chewing! The Yeti Puff + Play is an adorable Yeti-shaped plastic toy that is designed to hold the very end of a Yeti Chew or Yeti Nuggets. Once your dog gets near the end of the Chew, it can become a choking hazard. Simply place the end of the Chew (or a Nugget) inside and microwave the whole thing. SodaPup Lick Mats are my all time favorite dog product. If you’ve never heard of them, they are a super easy and fun way to give your dog some enrichment time while feeding them a healthy snack! There are endless ways you can fill a Lick Mat – my (and my dog’s) favorites are plain greek yogurt, mashed bananas, peanut butter, carrot baby food, chicken baby food, and steak baby food. You can spread as few or as many items on the mat as you want. Once you’re done, pop it in the freezer for at least an hour before giving it to your dog. Lick Mats are great mental stimulation for pets, and they will give you some uninterrupted free time while your dog is working on it! The licking helps calm your dog while entertaining them, avoids overfeeding, and promotes healthy teeth and gums.
